Six phrases that mean ‘not solid wood’

“Engineered wood”, “sheesham finish”, “solid wood construction”, “premium MDF”, “wood composite”, “rubberwood” — all legal, and all covering for board instead of timber. Ours say solid sheesham, solid mango, solid acacia. Where we use plywood — drawer bottoms and cabinet backs, which is normal and structurally sensible — the product page says so.

The questions people ask before ordering

Will solid wood crack in my city?It can move — that is what solid wood does. Our timber is seasoned before it is cut, which prevents splitting. Hairline checks in very dry heat or a stiff drawer in humidity are normal, and both are covered.
How long does delivery take, and do you assemble it?We deliver across India fully assembled. Timelines are shown at checkout by pincode.
Is there any MDF or particle board in these?No. Solid sheesham, mango and acacia. Plywood only on drawer bottoms and cabinet backs, always stated on the product page.
Do you offer EMI?Yes — no-cost EMI options are available at checkout.
