Custom solid wood furniture is one of the advantages of buying directly from Furnliv’s Jodhpur workshop. Many existing Furnliv designs can be discussed with different dimensions, timber, finish or configuration so the furniture fits the room or project rather than forcing the project around a fixed catalogue size.
What can be customised
- Dimensions. Length, width, height and depth can be reviewed for suitable designs, including tables, wardrobes, storage pieces and beds.
- Wood. Depending on the design, Furnliv works with solid Sheesham, Acacia and Mango wood.
- Finish. Existing finish options and project-specific finish requirements can be discussed before production. A teak-coloured finish, where offered, is a finish and should not be confused with teak timber.
- Upholstery. Fabric or leather requirements can be discussed for suitable seating products.
- Configuration. Storage layout, shelf spacing, drawers and other practical details can be reviewed where the construction permits.
How custom furniture starts
- Choose a starting point. Send a Furnliv product, drawing, sketch or suitable reference together with the required dimensions.
- Share the use case. Tell Furnliv whether the piece is for a home, restaurant, hotel, commercial project or repeated production run.
- Feasibility is reviewed. Material, dimensions and construction need to work together; not every visual change is structurally sensible.
- The specification is confirmed before production. Dimensions, timber, finish and other agreed details should be approved in writing.

Good to know before ordering
Solid wood is a natural material, so grain and tone vary from board to board. Custom dimensions can also change proportions, visual balance, packing requirements and price, which is why the final specification should be reviewed rather than assumed from a standard product photograph.
Custom-built pieces may be subject to different return or cancellation conditions from standard catalogue purchases. Review the current returns, replacements and refunds policy and confirm the applicable terms before approving a custom order.
