Shipping & Delivery

  • When you place an order on our website, the delivery timelines vary based on the type of product:

    • Ready Items like scatter pillows, ready lighting, etc., are shipped within a days.

    • Customised Products such as sofas, furniture, and Beds take approximately 4-6 weeks to ship from our warehouse.

    We deliver most items from Monday to Saturday. Once your shipment is ready for dispatch, you will receive an SMS notification. Additionally, you might get a call from our Courier Company/Logistics Partner to confirm the tentative date and time of delivery. Please note that as we do not have direct control over our logistics partners, we cannot guarantee that they will follow specific procedures or call before the delivery.

    Delivery Process
    The delivery personnel will bring your goods to your building premises or the nearest accessible location. For deliveries to higher floors, we are not equipped to deliver items directly to your doorstep. You are kindly requested to arrange for your own laborers or manpower to move large items to higher floors. Our logistics partners are responsible for delivering large products only up to the ground floor or, at most, the first floor.

    Packaging & Inspection
    To ensure the safety of your goods during transit and multiple handling processes, most products are secured with wooden crates. While we understand that these crates may add to the bulk of the packaging, they are essential for protecting the products. We recommend that you carefully open the goods yourself or with the assistance of a local carpenter or professional.

    • Important: Any defects or damages must be reported immediately to both the delivery person and FURNLIV Customer Care. Please mention the details of the defect/damage on the Challan/Proof of Delivery (POD).

    • Note: Delivery personnel are not authorized to open packages or furniture. Their role is limited to delivering the goods, and they are not directly employed by FURNLIV. We request your cooperation in this matter and kindly ask that you do not force them to open crates or packages.

    Responsibility for Delivery Issues

    • Size Concerns: If furniture is refused because it does not fit through an entryway, the responsibility lies with the customer. We encourage you to carefully review the product dimensions provided on the product page to ensure it fits your space.

    • Failed Deliveries: Any failed delivery attempts due to size restrictions, unavailability, or refusal will incur additional charges by FURNLIV or our logistics partner.

    • Address & Contact Information: Please provide accurate address and phone number details when placing your order. If you plan to be unavailable due to travel, inform us in advance so we can adjust the delivery schedule accordingly.

    Delivery Restrictions
    We reserve the right to refuse delivery to addresses that we deem insecure, such as communal postal addresses or P.O. boxes. If this affects your order, we will notify you promptly.

    Occasional Delays
    On rare occasions, some items may be delivered outside the stated timeframes due to unavoidable circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such cases.

HOLDING COST OR DELAYED DELIVERY CHARGES

If your order is ready for dispatch but has been held in our warehouse at your request, a Holding Cost will be applicable.

We offer a grace period of 2 weeks to hold your order in our warehouse. If your order remains on hold beyond this period due to your unavailability to accept the delivery, a Holding Cost or Delayed Delivery Cost will be charged on a monthly basis, calculated as a percentage of your total order value.

Key Details:

  • Holding Cost Rate: 5% of the total order value per month

  • GST: An additional 18% GST is applicable on the Holding Cost

  • This policy also applies to partial orders held in our facility upon your request.

Billing & Notifications:

  • You will receive an email notification detailing the charges levied on a monthly basis.

  • If the holding period is less than a month, you will be billed pro-rata for the number of days the order was held.

 

Payment & Dispatch:
The Holding Cost must be settled before we proceed with dispatching your order from our warehouse.
