Furnliv manufactures solid wood furniture in its Jodhpur workshop. The process begins with timber selection and preparation and continues through machining, joinery, sanding, finishing, quality checks and packing.
1. Timber selection and seasoning
Furnliv’s existing workshop content states that timber is bought directly and seasoned before production, with wood dried to around 8–12% moisture.
2. Cutting and machining
Timber is cut and machined according to the furniture design and required dimensions.
3. Joinery and assembly
Furnliv states that mortise-and-tenon and dowel joints are used where load requires them, depending on the design.
4. Sanding and surface preparation
Furniture moves through progressive sanding and preparation before finishing.
5. Finishing
Finish depends on the product and approved specification. A finish colour does not change the underlying wood species.
6. Quality checks and packing
Finished furniture is checked before packing and dispatch.
