Will the leather colour match the photographs exactly?
Not precisely. Hide takes dye unevenly and every batch differs slightly, so treat the images as a close guide rather than an exact match. We can send colour references on request.
Can I order this in a different leather colour?
Yes. We finish this range in Brown, Dark Brown, Tan, Red, Green, Dark Green and Gray, and we manufacture in Jodhpur, so other colours and dimensions can be quoted made-to-order.
About genuine leather
Real hide is not uniform. Expect variation in grain across a single piece, healed scars and insect marks from the animal’s life, and slight tonal shifts between panels. These are the marks that distinguish genuine leather from a printed synthetic, and they are why no two pieces are identical. With use the surface softens and develops a patina rather than wearing thin.
Caring for leather upholstery
Dust with a dry cloth and wipe spills immediately with a barely damp one. Avoid household cleaners, solvents and alcohol wipes, which strip the finish. Keep the piece away from direct sunlight and heat sources, both of which dry and crack hide over time. Condition with a dedicated leather cream once or twice a year, and rotate loose cushions so wear spreads evenly.
