This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase from furnliv.com (the “Site”).

Furnliv is a solid wood furniture workshop at Industrial Area, Tanawada, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342013, India.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages and products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the Site. We call this Device Information, and we collect it using:

  • Log files, which track actions on the Site and record your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
  • Web beacons, tags and pixels, electronic files that record information about how you browse the Site.

When you make or attempt to make a purchase we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address and phone number. Where you give us room measurements or a specification for a custom piece, we keep those so we can build to them. We call this Order Information.

“Personal Information” in this policy means both Device Information and Order Information.

We do not store your card details. Payments are processed by our payment gateway, which handles card and UPI data directly. We never see or hold your full card number.

How we use your personal information

We use Order Information to fulfil orders placed through the Site — processing payment, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and order confirmations. We also use it to:

  • Communicate with you about your order, including sizing questions and delivery scheduling
  • Handle replacement, repair and warranty claims
  • Screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  • Meet our tax and accounting obligations under Indian law
  • Send you information or advertising about our products, in line with your preferences

We use Device Information to screen for risk and fraud, particularly your IP address, and to improve and optimise the Site.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties who need it:

  • Delivery and logistics partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver your furniture
  • Our payment gateway, to process payment
  • Analytics providers such as Google Analytics, to understand how customers use the Site
  • Our accountants, and government authorities where legally required

We may also share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws, to respond to a lawful request such as a subpoena or search warrant, or to protect our rights. Some providers operate servers outside India; where that is the case we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

Behavioural advertising

We use Personal Information to provide targeted advertisements and marketing communications that may interest you. You can opt out of targeted advertising through:

Do not track

We do not alter the Site’s data collection practices when we receive a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Data retention

We retain Order Information for our records to meet tax and accounting requirements, unless and until you ask us to delete it and we are not legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or completed if it is wrong, to have it erased where we are not legally required to keep it, to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. Security

The Site runs over HTTPS and access to order data is restricted to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures as required by the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Children

This Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
